MailScanner engine is a learning engine where you can report incoming emails as spam. You can also block unwanted domains which you think are sending spam emails to your organization.
If you want report incoming emails as Spam to MailScanner engine, you can follow these steps to do achieve that.
- Login to your cPanel account.
- In the Email section, click on "MailScanner
- On the next screen, click on MailControl
- Select an email message which you think may be spam by clicking icon in View/Status column
- You can confirm that the email message you opened is flagged as Low Scoring Spam
- Now that you have identified a Low Scoring Spam message, you can click on "Learn as Spam". Depending on your privileges if you are a reseller or just a user you might see an option "Learn as Spam and Report". Both options will allow MailScanner engine to Learn spam messages.
- You can sort messages using available filters so its easy to view Low or High scoring spam messages
